This is funny. Just read the non-agile column. I don't think that any company would have survived even 10 years ago when the term agile wasn't used when the company had ALL the characteristics like described.
Why should Team Participation be unwelcome in a non-agile company? I don't believe that the majority of companies worked like this even before agile. Maybe in India, but not in Germany.
